November Weddings
Kandis and Austin’s beautiful sealing at the Salt Lake City Temple was on a cold November morning. November weddings are a little unpredictable. That whole week it had been extremely warm, but the morning of Kandis and Austin’s, it snowed! It was amazing! Also, weekday November weddings are not busy, it is nice to have all the time in the world on the temple grounds! When Kandis and Austin came out of the temple, they were so excited to see everyone. They looked classy in their wedding attire. Kandis had a 1920’s theme going on that she rocked. See more of them in their formal session linked here. After they walked out we did the family pictures on the steps and then some couple portraits. Even though the sun was shining, it was probably around 30 degrees! What major troopers! The images turned out amazing.
Kaysville Reception
Following the sealing, we headed to their reception which was held in a beautiful red barn in Kaysville. As a result of the sunset, the cotton candy colored sky made the perfect backdrop. We snapped a few more images in front of the venue. After more family pictures, I got to take images of the details which blew my mind. I was amazed at how detail oriented it all was! The vintage vibe matched the vintage look Kandis was pulling off. There were even sentimental family items on display.
Next, they cut cake and did other wedding traditions. Following that, Kandis’ sister performed a song that was sung at her parents wedding. It was beautiful to listen to. Lastly, it was time to party! I was told this was the couple’s favorite part of weddings and they danced the night away! I would like to conclude by saying it was great to work with these two and I am happy I got to! They are genuine and easy going, I had a blast being their photographer!
