Salt Lake Engagements are always a great option when it is the dead of winter. The city is a wonderful backdrop full of color, architecture and it very unique. I love being able to walk around and get so many different looks in a one block radius. You have to be willing to climb a few flights of stairs or cross some busy streets, but it is well worth it! Matt and Madi were so great to work with. As you can tell, they were laughing and having a good time throughout the whole session! I actually grew up in Matt’s ward and my younger sister is good friends with Madi. It is a small world!

After the city, we headed up to Tunnel Springs park to and the gold weeds with the sunlight were magic. And there was not a soul at that location. It is nice to have the whole place to yourself.
I can’t wait to photograph their formals next followed by their March Wedding. I have a feeling it is going to be a party!
